Rate Process Theory and the Development of Parametric Relationships

چکیده
Much of the early application and evolution of the high-temperature parametric relationships to data for aluminum alloys were carried out during the 1950s and 1960s under the auspices of the MPC, then known as the Metals Properties Council (now the Materials Properties Council). However, the real origins of the relationships go back considerably further. The “rate process theory” was first proposed by Eyring in 1936 (Ref 1) and was first applied to metals by Kauzmann (Ref 2) and Dushman et al. (Ref 3). It may be expressed mathematically as:

A Nonlinear Creep-damage Constitutive Model of Mudstone Based on the Fractional Calculus Theory
During the flood development in an oil field, the creep characteristic of mudstone is one of the important factors causing casing damage. In this study, based on the theory of fractional order differential and taking into account the creep damage evolution rules, a fractional nonlinear creep-damage model is proposed to reflect the instantaneous deformation in loading processes and the accelerat...
متن کاملA Non-parametric Control Chart for Controlling Variability Based on Squared Rank Test
Control charts are used to identify the presence of assignable cause of variation in the process. Non-parametric control chart is an emerging area of recent development in the theory of SPC. Its main advantage is that it does not require any knowledge about the underlying distribution of the variable. In this paper a non-parametric control chart for controlling variability has been developed. I...
متن کاملComparison of parametric and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process in land evaluation (Case study: Varamin region)
In last decades, the skillful planning of land resources has become a major issue for rural development. The development of cultivated areas becomes gradually impossible due to ever increasing population growth and urban development. Fuzzy logic is preferred to Boolean logic for land evaluation, because fuzzy techniques lead to estimate for land use suitability on a continuous scale and can the...
متن کاملDesigning an Effective Accountability Model for Islamic Azad University: a qualitative approach based on Grounded Theory
The purpose of present study was to design an effective accountability model for Islamic Azad University by using qualitative grounded theory. The data of this study were the result of semi-structured interviews with 25 senior administrators in Tehranchr('39')s Islamic Azad University branches who were selected by theoretical sampling method. Using analytical methods of Strauss and Corbin, dat...
متن کاملOn the non-parametric multivariate control charts in fuzzy environment
Multivariate control chats are generally used in situations where the simultaneous monitoring or control of two or more related quality characteristics is necessary. In most processes in the real world, distribution of the process characteristics are unknown or at least non-normal, so the non-parametric or distribution-free charts are desirable. Most non-parametric statistical process-control t...
